The Six Extraction Levels
Which one are you operating inside?
The corporate commercial system extracts at six levels at once. Most operators are inside two or three of them without knowing it.
This is not a sales argument. It is a diagnostic.
Read the level that names where you are. The recognition is the diagnostic.
I. The Architecture of Extraction
The extraction is not a metaphor. It is a precise operational architecture, running continuously since 1956 — the year white-collar workers first exceeded blue-collar and the information economy began its structural colonization of human attention, labour, capital, and time. The four mechanisms ran in sequence: attention captured first, then labour, then capital, then wealth. By the time anyone noticed, all four were already running. The architecture was designed to be invisible — because an extraction mechanism you can see is one you can resist.
There are six levels. They are not a ladder. They are simultaneous active forces, each running regardless of whether you are aware of it. An operator at Level 3 is also being extracted from at Levels 0, 1, and 2. The levels do not replace each other. They compound.
II. The Six Levels
Level 0 · Biological FoundationBefore attention, before labour, before capital, the system extracts at the biological level — through inputs normalized into daily life until they are no longer experienced as extraction, only as tiredness, difficulty focusing, the sense of operating below capacity. Industrial food. Light that disrupts the circadian architecture the nervous system needs to compound. An operator on a depleted biological substrate is running on willpower. Willpower has a ceiling. Architecture does not.
Level 1 · Front-Line LabourThe smartphone is the most successful extraction instrument ever built; its genius is that you chose it, paid for it, carry it, and defend it as a productivity tool while it converts sovereyn attention into platform revenue. Attention is the raw material from which all value is made. Every scroll is a withdrawal. Every notification costs the nervous system fifteen to twenty-five minutes of recovery before focus returns. The extraction is measured not in time but in the value never created — because the attention that would have created it was redirected first.
Level 2 · Manager LabourThe consumer-debt architecture was engineered to intercept capital before sovereynty could be funded — not through large commitments but through micro-extractions so small and numerous that no single withdrawal triggers review. Frictionless subscriptions. One-click purchases designed to remove the cognitive pause. Platform fees structured as a percentage of revenue, so the more you generate, the more is extracted. Capital that leaks before it reaches sovereyn allocation never builds infrastructure.
Level 3 · Arxecutive LabourThis is where most founders live. The information age created infinite work volume while human neurological capacity stayed fixed. The result: an operator capable of generating extraordinary value per hour of architect-altitude thinking spends most of their hours on machine-grade tasks — tasks that require presence but not judgment. The long week is not ambition; it is the symptom of an organism that requires the founder's continuous presence to operate. Working harder does not escape this level. It optimizes it.
Level 4 · OwnerOwnership without architecture is a more expensive form of employment. The founder owns the equity; the business owns the founder — every expansion routes through their presence. This level runs in two modes at once. Offensively: the founder cannot scale beyond their own presence, because the business was designed around it. Defensively: multiple regulatory layers run simultaneously against every high-net-worth owner, and the wealth architecture that protected them for twenty years may not protect them through the next decade of consolidation. Ownership creates two vulnerabilities. Both run. Neither announces itself.
Level 5 · Sovereyn Arrival StateThe system has no mechanism designed to reach this level. Every extraction vector is reversed. The organism compounds without the founder's continuous presence. The founder did not escape the extraction architecture — they out-architected it. Escape implies the architecture still exists and a gap was found. Out-architecture means the organism was designed at a higher order than the extraction mechanisms were built to reach. The system cannot extract from what it cannot locate.
III. The Simultaneous Architecture
The six levels are not a progression. An operator does not exit Level 1 before entering Level 3. They run together, each compounding the others. Depleted biological architecture at Level 0 leaves less capacity for the architect-altitude work Level 3 demands. Capital extraction at Level 2 leaves less to fund the infrastructure that would correct Level 3. The mechanisms reinforce each other by design.
This is not conspiracy. It is architecture. The system was not designed by a single malicious intelligence; it evolved over seventy years into an interlocking extraction organism, because interlocking extraction is more stable than single-point extraction. Remove one mechanism and the others compensate. Which is why the correction is not single-point either: sovereyn architecture addresses all six levels at once — not sequentially — because the extraction operates at all six at once. It does not optimize the current infrastructure. It replaces the architecture that created the extraction.
The level you recognized yourself in is not a problem to be solved.
It is an architecture to be replaced.
